The stone-ground Aida blend was born out of an awareness of the importance of introducing to tables a product with two peculiarities: that it is as workable as a white flour and that it has the nutritional benefits similar to whole grain flours.
Aida Rye & Wheat is a blend with a high nutritional profile. The high percentage of rye, combined with flaxseed flour, make it a unique product. Rye, in many ways, is one of the best grains, although it is still little used in Italy. In addition to its high fiber content, which helps regularize intestinal functions, it provides substances such as phosphorus, calcium, B and E vitamins, and minerals. In addition, rye contains lysine, an essential amino acid (i.e., assimilable only through food) that is very important for our bodies.
