The Growth of Organic in Italy
The data from the SANA Observatory presented by Nomisma in 2025 confirm that the market of organic products in Italy reached a value of over EUR 6.5 billion, marking a 5.7 % growth by 2023 and an impressive 135% increase over the last ten years. This growth was also made possible by this positive trend, which is reflected in household consumption, which increased by 6.7%. In fact, the percentage of Italians between the ages of 18 and 65 who consciously include at least one organic product in their shopping cart has increased from 53% to 93%.
